Parameterize Iterative Method for Solving Nonlinear Equations

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce and study an iterative method for solving nonlinear equations. The method is developed through the application of homotopy perturbation method and considering an auxiliary homotopy function. Comparison of results obtained in terms of the number of iterations from the new method with those obtained from some existing methods is made using a one way analysis of variance. This reveals the accuracy and efficiency of the new method.
